GUARACYAN CONCEPTS

CABOCLO(A) - Popular term referring to the human being's Consciousness and Dynamic on Earth. Capacity, agility, cunning, determination, personality and loyalty are some adjectives that qualify those teachers as Caboclos. Mentors and catalysts of all forms of evolutionary dynamics, Caboclos share with the Pretos Velhos, the Symbol of Umbanda in Brazil. This is a fact with deep historical roots and shortly it will be approached in this page.

CAMARINHA - Sacred room for the gathering of Iaôs during the initiatic rites. In the camarinhas offerings and consecrations of the Otás ( fetishes of the Orixás and entities) are done.

CAMBONO - Mediums, of both sexes, who assist the spiritual entities during their incorporations. Intermediaries between the entities and their consultants. Represents a function and not a "degree" (level of initiation).

CAOS (CHAOS)- Sensation of disorder caused by the excess of possibilities and probabilities.

CONSAGRADO (CONSACRATED) - That which is intentionally and ritualistically destined to represent something sacred.

CRIANÇA (CHILD)- Popular term used to denominate Spiritual Guides manifesting without formal Consciousness. It is the Spiritual Light manifested and exempt of "filters". It is the Forest that becomes a Garden. It is when the young flower plays with the new leaves and making Ossãe smile. It is Light in the Light.

(DUALITIES) - Complementary horizontal opposite poles. Convergent horizontal forces that, in harmony with the polarities, promote the balance of the center. Horizontal line of the quadrant. Examples: (Male and Female) (Concave and Convex).

EBÓ - Offerings prepared with the combination of several elements and ingredients, which catalyzes the energies corresponding to the vibratory Lines of Quimbanda.

ÉGUNS - The spirits of the ancestors. Disincarnate conscious beings .

EKÉDE - At Templo Guaracy, the Ekede is responsible for all the organization that precedes the beginning of any ritualistic ceremony. Her competence extends to the supervision of "paramentos" , assistance to the entities of the Iaôs, and the upkeep of the ritualistic materials, assuring that they are of the appropriate quality and quantity.

ELEDÁ - Interior spiritual dimension. Center in which is contained the "fragment" of Primordial Light that characterizes life and its individuation. Vibratory nucleus, which exists in inverse relationship to the external Electromagnetic Field. Center of the Universe. Fundamental base on which rest the Orí and the Orô.

EREFUÊ - Negative fluids emanated by spirits of low spiritual plane.

ESPÍRITO (SPIRIT) - Manifestation of the Primordial Light which determines the essential characteristics of all the material and immaterial beings existent in the universe. Light and Conscience in expansion. Cosmic identity.

ESSÊNCIA (ESSENCE) - Fragment of Primordial Light which gives a foundation to the Beginning.

FUNDAMENTO (FOUNDATION) - Coherence contained in the Philosophy and in the Method.
